On November 15, 2008, ten non-profit and Massachusetts state organizations sponsored a groundbreaking conference at Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts: Responding to Climate Change: Working Together to Conserve Land, Wildlife and Habitat. The first of its kind in the Commonwealth of and the nation, the conference brought together nearly 200 conservation leaders from across 60 organizations, including scientists, land stewards, hunters, anglers, government officials, advocates, foundation officers, policy-makers and others.

Topics discussed at the day long conference range from how climate change will impact the Northeastern United States to regional planning strategies for adaptation along with updates on state and federal climate change policy. Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences and the Alliance partners are pleased to share with you the Special Conference Report (PDF, 4.14MB) that provides conference highlights and exciting next steps.
